A tiny child dressed in new
sat in the grass quietly
She watched others at play
They sang songs with high
pitched laughter as she looked to the sky
and the sun kissed her face
Wet streams rolled down her face
for she hated being the new
kid at school In a sky
of faces hers was unnoticed Quietly
she wished for a hello or a hi
but that day she wouldn't play
Now a teenager she loved to play
She had something about that face
The boys loved getting her high
in the backseats of cars She knew
she was known as "that kind of girl" Quietly
she got around with her feet in the sky
She moved fast from acid to x Her sky
was hazy it filled up her head Playing
with trippers that changed her quietly
you could tell by looking at her face
Sick of her life she searched for something new
but her reachable goals were too high
Now in her twenties she stood high
on a mountain breathing in the sky's
cool breath The taste was something new
The wind sang its song and played
across her face
as the pain in her chest grew quiet
Overwhelmed the Earth was quiet
with wisdom High
above a bird flew over to face
what was to come The sky
glanced to the bird that played
in its path and even the bird knew
Suddenly she too knew
as the wind stopped playing
and her heart
soared through
the sky.
